After School Clubs

Our daily session routine:- 

3:15pm to 3:30pm collection from school (Reception – Year 3 will be escorted to the designated collection area in school where a member of Little Stars staff will be waiting. Year 4 are escorted to wrap around care by their class teacher and Year 5 and 6 are given the responsibility to walk across the playground and make their way over to the Nest once they are let out of school by their teacher).

3:15 - 4pm (rolling snack) - Snack time 

4pm – 5.25pm - Free choice activities, adult led activities and free flow outdoor play 

5:30pm - Quiet/Calming activities 

There is an opportunity when the children arrive to complete any homework with support from a member of staff where possible. For the rest of the session the children are able to freely choose activities and resources that are on offer such as mark making, role play, small world, construction, games consoles and a quiet/chill out area with cushions and books. We have full use of our outdoor area and the children are able to access this every day. We also offer a variety of outdoor resources every day such as balls, bats, ropes, trikes and scooters. Our planning is developed each week directly from the children's interests, suggestions, festivals and celebrations and our values. This allows us to offer a variety of resources and activities that suit all age ranges, which will allow their individual development to thrive and allows each child to have a varied and enjoyable experience whilst attending after school club.

Monday to Thursday - From your child's school finishing time to 6:00pm 

Friday - From your child's school finishing time to 17:30pm
